Breath of the Wild was two years and nine months after the first teaser, but like Twilight Princess, it was certainly pushed back for the next console, and we have assets for a shorter development cycle this time around.

Late 2021 if it's 2022 then it's cross gen with Switch 2.

Difficult. I chose late 2021, because next year we might see Skyward Sword HD to fill the gap. It makes no sense to release Skyward Sword HD after BOTW 2 and there will not be two 3D Zeldas released within one year. But on the other hand Nintendo really need at least one big blockbuster game to compete with the launch of PS5/Scarlett next year. Metroid Prime 4 won't be finished next year, but Super Mario Odyssey 2 or a 3D Donkey Kong game with SMO engine could be possible.

I've never done anything with VG$, I don't understand it. But looking at my balance I'm outraged that I've been fined for past-requested bans and lost something I don't care about.

Seeing so many say delay or late 2021 and so on, makes me think of when Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2 were both announced with their dates and the 90% of people who all said "No way they will keep those date, delay imminent."
