I do think getting GTA in VR is going to massive for the medium. I am really hoping at a minimum that we see RDR2 remastered for PS5 with PSVR2 support, much like we saw GTA5 remastered for PS4 with First Person support. Then that can lead into GTA 6 being PSVR2 compatible on launch. Ultimately getting GTA5, RDR2, and GTA6 would be ideal.

Seen that when it first came out. It won't be quite that awesome next gen, that might be a PS6/PSVR3 or even PS7/PSVR4 type of experience. It is where we are heading though, and I look forward to it more than I have ever looked forward to anything ever before.

Thanks for posting, it was well worth another viewing.

Vacation Simulator lol, that’s probably like real life.

Anyway good that sales are trending up a bit.

Games like No Man's Sky Beyond and Five Nights at Freddy's VR are getting some hype around the internet. 5 Million this year is a possibility.

Sony keeps churning games for this device ? I'd say it is time to concentrate themselves for next VR Gen instead if they want to grab an audience faster and bigger than they did with the PS4.

Pretty safe to assume everything they do now will be available on next gen VR (BC) and the most commercial titles will likely get patched. I think it will be a similar situation as Wii U & Switch, where vast amounts of people skipped the first system and so last gen titles  (Robo Boy, RE7, Beat Saber, No Mans Land, Skyrim etc) get huge seconds legs on the successor platform.

Apparently it's sold 1.2m in the last 7 months and momentum is growing. No man's sky and Iron man along with the sprinkling of smaller titles will keep it going.

Most of it was probably due to the massive discounts and bundles it had during the christmas rush/holiday period. I remember me and my sister looking everywhere in town and neighbors to catch one but they were all sold out and we were told stocks weren't comng back before March.

I've looked yet again this month and there's been almost no restock since then. I hope they solve this issue fast cuz I might go watch for other possibilities (Oculus Quest, Vive Cosmos) at this point.

The sales got a boost because they were selling for as little as $100 near me last Christmas.  I'm sure they've slowed way down since the deals went away.

Stop hating and start playing.

It's actually crazy that in 2019 only Sony are supporting VR from the big 3. They are ahead of the curve and we should be greatful.

Whoa whoa whoa, did you not see Labo VR? Sony has some serious competition.

It boggles my mind that people think that a device selling 1.2 million over half a year including its it's third holiday period is somehow impressive. To this day, the highest quarter of sales the PSVR has had was its first. Yeah, sales have increased by literally the slightest of margins, but let's not act like this is building momentum. It took almost the same amount of time to sell its first 2 million as it did its second 2 million. Over that time period, Sony made the bulk of PSVR sales by slashing its price in half, and it was likely still outsold by the PS4 Pro over that same time period. Is Sony even making a profit off of PSVR while selling it at $199?

I mean, honestly, would anyone be surprised if eeks out 5 million in sales sometime over the summer, and we're talking about 6 million sold around this time next year?

I'm not sure why everyone is acting like No Man's Sky will make a difference. That game was a giant flop. I can go get a copy of it at the local ma and pa game store for $5. They have stacks of them. People have moved on from it and have for quite some time. It doesn't appear to have many active current users at all. Why would this push noticeably more PSVR sales? I don't get it.

Thi really takes off when it can be sold for $100 and you need nothing more than a PS5 to which it will connect wirelessly.
