Looks like I guessed what the top 2 non-Nintendo games would be. I'm also glad that someone else out there voted for some arcade games other than myself.

Thanks mZuzek for doing all of this.

Well done! I think the remake of SotC helped a lot this year. Glad to see it make a big leap! Although I’m bummed RE4 fell out of the top 20.

Great Job! Thank you for all of your hard work! Octopath Traveler surprised me that it got GOTY for this year since it was such a good year for releases!

Thanks mZuzek for all the hard work. You're my hero, the greatest 50 games of all time is a highlight in these forums.

Some errors I noticed:
Baldur's Gate II has the subtitle Shadows of Amn, not Ann.
The GOTY's have 1981 twice.

Other than that some notes:
Yeah, Heroes of Might and Magic III is the highest ranking HOMM and in the TOP 10 for PC!
Octopath is 2018 GOTY, oh yeah!
I thought I would be the only one voting for Tokyo Mirage Sessions, I'm pleasantly surprised others have it on their lists too. Please Atlus bring it to Switch, so more people can experience this great game.

3DS-FC: 4511-1768-7903 (Mii-Name: Mnementh), Nintendo-Network-ID: Mnementh, Switch: SW-7706-3819-9381 (Mnementh)

my greatest games: 2017, 2018

Predictions: Switch / Switch vs. XB1 in the US / Three Houses first quarter

Awesome work! It was fun to participate and read everyone’s stories. The resulting list might be a bit Nintendo oriented, especially high up, but the thread was a mixed celebration of gaming.

Can’t say I can disagree with a Zelda game at #1, but Ocarina at 4 is obviously wayyy too low.

EDIT: Lol at my nostalgia #50 now being awarded Game of the Year 1979.

I was pretty shocked too. I enjoyed the game a good bit, but never even thought it'd be that high.

Interesting to see the vote numbers too.

Especially with Pokemon Red/Blue having 5 more votes than Gold/Silver yet only being 1 rank higher.

Yeah, despite getting way more votes Red/Blue was only 7 points ahead of Gold/Silver. It only makes sense given how good the latter is.

Thanks for all the work, mZuzek! A shame that Chrono Trigger did not reach the top 20, but what can you do.

What can I do? Hmm, play it, maybe. Everyone rates it so highly I'm sure it could at least break into my list. I've always been slightly interested in it, but I don't know, JRPGs are really not my thing.

I suppose Breath of the Wild taking the #1 spot was a safe bet but it's still nice to see, as it very much deserves that position in my most humble opinion.

Pretty safe, yeah, it was so far ahead of everything else. I don't see it leaving that #1 spot any time soon.

It can be a little iffy with 2018, since Smash Ultimate wasn't eligible yet and Red Dead Redemption 2 probably suffered a bit for being too recent for people to list (happened with Super Mario Odyssey last year, compared to where it is now). I was surprised God of War and Spider-Man didn't get more love, but yeah, Octopath Traveler did good.

Nintendo bias doesn't exist. Nintendo just make the best games and some people can't handle it.

Thanks Mzuzek for organizing this, it looks very well made and it's pleasing to the eyes : )

(yes ... I will try to play enough games to get in next year)

Still don't get the point of these polls on a Nintendo dominated forum. Obviously you know what it's gonna be lol

It's always interesting to see how people's opinion of games change in a year. Xenoblade 2 came too late for last year's list, but that gave people plenty of time to realize what an awesome game it truly was. It's really nice to see Silver/Gold, and Red/Blue at the top of the list for Poke'mon games.
