Yes.

And if someone is wondering, by exploding I mean that will its sales explode.

Oh...

No.

You made me laugh. Thanks

Are people really taking the bait, considering the OP?

To really explode it will need a lower price and being actively marketed again, but also a larger user base will help. If Ninty is fine with current HW and SW sales, it could start trying all the necessary to relaunch LABO not this month (it would be too late to fully use the Xmas and BF period potential), but in November 2019.
Probably to make it really work, Ninty will have to launch a new set too, at a nicer launch price than the existing ones, that on their turn would need a heavier discount to sell better than they did up until now. Incentives for physical stores will help too, as Ninty's greed isn't the only reason for LABO kits high price, there's also the far larger shelf space they need compared to standard packages of most other games.

It's not bait if it's the argument that people have had for the product since its lukewarm debut.

If by explode you mean sell really well, I sort of hope not.

Like I said..."considering the OP".. If it were someone neutral asking the the same question, then it would be legit.

And if someone is wondering, by exploding I mean that will its sales explode. And explode upwards, because implosion would be quite hard to achieve in this case.

After LABO's launch many stated that its sales are in line with Nintendo's expectations and that it will sell a lot more during Christmas, because its sales curve will be similar to toys.

I was wondering that how many still think like this, since I am not seeing signs that would indicate this.

Well, it's an million seller, so this is kinda unwarranted. Many games would be happy to reach these sales.

This is just not the next big thing some expected.

Will it do better in the holidays? Maybe. But not exploding.

It's a million shipper. Its initial shipment hasn't been sold yet.

Nah LABO is done. I was one of the people that said give it to nearly holiday season to determine how well it will do. Well holiday season is here and I got my answer. Sorry LABO, you didn't fare too well

And in my opinion LABO will sell even less than I predicted right after its lanch. First I thought that it could sell 2 million lifetime, but now I am not even sure about that. And it most likely will sell a lot less than what Nintendo expected. Fortunately.

What? You don't think it will sell 2M? In July it had 1.39M, without even the vehicle kit released. It may not be the next Wii Sports, but it will get to 2M.

it bothers me that there are still people here to hope for failure. Labo is a neat concept, though maybe not for you. The industry needs Nintendo's wacky concepts or it will be the same thing over and over again.

Yes, this. There are many different sorts of gamers. If you don't like some concept, then don't buy it. If others buy it, who knows, maybe these sales finance the next AAA-flop you love. But reducing the industry only to some genres or concepts is... boring.

And you took people that doesn't expect it to succeed are automatically hoping for failure?

Look in this thread: "If by explode you mean sell really well, I sort of hope not."

No, but at least you know Nintendo is doing well when their biggest recent flop still managed to reach well over 1 million sales.

Yeah, many game companies wish for this sort of failure.

It's no use OP, nobody is putting stock into Labo anymore ...

It's just one of the many other failed concepts or ideas out there ...

As failed as Detroit Become Human, Shadow of the Collossus, Ni No Kuni II, Soul Calibur VI and many others. What a bunch of falures.
