My next 3 games

#38. The characters and whole universe are data, nothing but data and should behave as such!

Star Ocean 3?

You got it, I don't know how data should behave though.

Time for a second hint;

#38: This game's story runs parallel to the movie, but it's opening level replicates the movie's opening scene chillingly perfect.

Hint 2: But, it seems in this opening scene there's more walkers taken down than in the movie, and you win, except you still lose. Creative freedom I guess.

Probably some garbage like Shadows of the Empire. This is about greatest games, by the way.

Garbage?!

Shadows of the Empire is right.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron

Close, but it was Shadows of the Empire, as Rol guessed right before you.

One of the European launch-titles of the Nintendo 64, and one of the first games I got on the system. As something that hadn't been done much yet before this game, the game follows a completely original character and takes place between the second and third movies of the original trilogy. It references some events from the second movie and mentions a couple of it's characters.

When I first played 'Shadows of the Empire', it was an immediate hit with me. The generation in general was when Star Wars games soured to new heights, and this one was no different. I played it regularly, and have finished it more times than I can count because of it's short playtime. All the levels are unique and engaging enough though for the game to keep it's replayability. Like 'Rebel Assault II', the game features different playstyles for a lot of the levels; most are third-person action styled, but there's also third-person and first-person flying stages and a racing level on a Speeder, which is probably the most notorious and admittedly the controls are less than ideal.

I loved every level, including the racing-level, regardless though, until I got to the Sewers level. I feared every water level in every game ever since I got scared of the underwater creatures in the third level of 'Dark Forces', another Star Wars game, several years prior. And this level again wasn't without it's creepy critters. Obviously I'm way too old now to still get scared about something in a video game, but dark and murky water levels in games still to this day make me think twice before diving in.

#37: This series is notable for the many peripherals it's compatible with, and this game in particular was the last one where the important of those peripherals was still licenced by a real company.

More clues:

35. a)  Long before Ubisoft showed Mario + Rabbids could work, this PS2 game showed that another unlikely mash-up would work.
b)  This game is near perfect, except for maybe the part with the Gummi Ship.

I actually like the Gummi Ship in Kingdom Hearts.

Correct!  (And I thought they did a better job with the ship in the 2nd game.)

Rock Band?

Close, I messed up with this hint though. Didn’t realise Rock Band had Fender Stratocasters.
