He would certainly know how a country waning in dominance and importance looks.

I spent a month travelling through Russia this summer. They are much better off then you think. Living expenses are so cheap you don't need to earn much to live. The people are cool. The country is beautiful. Very safe part of the world.

The USA has no divine right to world dominance so I'm glad it's waning. Now if only the Europeans United. Russia and the rest of Europe would be the ultimate world power.

Yeah a lot of people have such a distorted view on what Russia is really like and most of it is thanks to propaganda and also stereotyping.

The American will die like all empires. As it always was.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

I'd prefer WW3 over allying with Russia in any capacity.

I'd personally be happiest in a world without any superpowers and without anyone wanting to ever be one. There are more important things than imperialism that humanity can be doing; things significantly less destructive to the world we live on including the people and ecosystems we live with.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Depends on whether you wish to calculate the extra costs that burning fossil fuels has on the climate/environment. If not no other source will be more profitable the coming decades. I in generaly am pro capitalism but willingly destroying your own planet for a few bugs is something I will never understand. Its not like sustainable energy isn't profitable these days its just less profitable from purely an economical point of view.

That contradiction is Marxist theory right there.

Basically, the mechanisms that feed capitalism are also what destroys it - and the unfortunate thing, it's taking the world with it. As a world we really should be doing all we can to protect the environment and the sustainability of resources. It's logical to move to a green/sustainable economy right now - the technology is already there.

Funny thing is though that every communist country or someone who tried to make a country communist are usually among the worst poluters out there. The problem with communism is that innovation is not rewarded. In general we do need stronger and better governments environment ministers/agency. The market even asks for it.

Capitalism actually holds a lot of great values and is a very decent starting point. However our current capitalist lineair consumptie economy needs to be steered towards a green circular economy and partially controlled to really be benificial for the well being of people, planet and profit and should not only run on profit. Although the latter is neccesary.

Unfortunately our governments are getting more and more like companies and will not act if a plan is not profitable enough. I see it in my work all to often it a plan does lots of good for the planet and the health of people, but is not profitable enough governments and companies in general will not invest into it.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Nonsense. There will always be a dominant force in the world unless humanity is so weak that it is in decline as a whole.

Well your country aligns themselves with Germany who were instrumental in the 2 world wars so far. Go to Russia, visit different cities and meet the people. You'll soon see we Europeans are just that. Europeans living in different countries. The Russian people are a great bunch despite what Western propaganda teaches you.

I have read on an article that China will Overtake U.S. Economy by 2032.

"In 2032, three of the four largest economies will be Asian -- China, India and Japan -- and, by that time, China will also have overtaken the U.S. to hold the No. 1 spot."

Yet while we have nukes in the thousands would anyone dare invade?

Lack of dominance doesn’t mean lack of defense from invasion (whether they be militaristic or diplomatic - as is the case of Sweden and Switzerland).

Putin, Merkel, Macron and Erdogan, this weekend, showed the middle finger to US sanctions against Syria/Iran as they explored ways to circumvent it.
