There was this Final Fantasy game that was being developed by Eidos Montreal several years ago but Square Enix ultimately rejected it. Presumably, it was too ambitious for its own good and the premise was kind of generic, but the thought of a Western-developed Final Fantasy main entry is exciting.

A video about it was uploaded today, actually.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

The best part of that concept was the kaleidoscope Chowder/Gankutsuou art style idea. A space game really needs to be made with that kind of art style.

Santa Monica new IP. I was really excited and anticipating that game. SSM are a very talented studio and I was really eager to see what they could do with a new IP. Specially since it was rumoured to be a sci-fi game.
