1. True. I do not deny that.

Women are capable of doing what the male GTAV protagonists are doing good or bad. I don't see any reason for exclusivity when a solid story and gameplay is all I need for my GTA fix.

3. Is it the rule here to tell people you disagree with as trolls?

This article says, that women who are overemotional or oversexed should/would not be recruited as spies, which eliminates prostitutes from the equation. Now, I don't say GTA can't have a female character, but it'd be pointless if she'd be a spy, as it would change the game's working formula. Rockstar doesn't need that, at the risk of alienating it's buyers. GTA should remain GTA. So, that being said - if it fits into the storyline, they can make a female protagonist, but not because there should be a female protagonist because of inclusivity.

Now, you said that women are capable of everything that male protagonists are capable of doing. It should be pointed out, that there's inherent physical differences between men and women - especially in strength. As you know, there is hand-to-hand combat in the games, so there's your difference. Of course, it could be reduced by a martial arts training of sorts, but let's not dive into specifics.

3. No, but making multiple outlandish statements that go strongly against the consensus, is at least illogical and points strongly towards trolling.

I would probably play the next GTA despite of it having or not having a female or homosexual character. However, it would be interesting to see how well would a homosexual protagonist would be written, especially if they aim to surpass GTA IV story-wise. But I'd have my doubts like many people.

But the outcry on the social media would be insane, unfortunately. Some kids and adults alike would outright refuse to buy the game because it has an homosexual protagonist, even if there's a SWITCH option that lets you play as three different characters. I am actually picturing what gamers and their mothers would say to slander this kind of decision. I would be interested to see what would be the outcome on the game for such a sudden switch.

Unless... they make him start as heterosexual, but later there is a choice where he can turn homosexual at the decision of the player.

People would go apeshit over implying gayness as a choice. There is no way they can win in this situation even if they wanted to do it, things are just to politically charged in media these days because of large sites trying to generate views from outrage they design. No matter what they do the outrage will happen so its best to stay away from it atm regardless of their vision.

Mass Effect and Dragon Age already have that, you chose who you romance. It can be implemented in the same way, just have a options.

No thanks.

No. I’m gay and I’m so tired of everyone wanting to put in gay characters and female characters just for political correctness. Unless the developer is doing it for the story purposes and what THEY want for THEIR game, I don’t ever think there needs to be More “representation”

If you want more, become a dev and make a game yourself. Don’t tell others it’s their duty to do it just for the sake of it when it’s their game.

No, I'm not against having a Female character or gay character in a GTA game, but if they don't fit into the story very well then it's pointless. I just don't think they should be there just purely for the sake of equal representation.

1. Strippers/prostitutes can have side jobs. Strippers can be oversexed, normal or undersexed Whatever. Some women could even appear less attractive without their make up/mascara and hair done. Did you know that?

2. Women can fight. It doesn't matter if men are stronger. It's just videogames. Even GTA as a concept doesn't make sense. Don't take it seriously. Lol

3. What consensus? What outlandish statements that are illogical? I never made one so far. Is it trolling to say that GTA can sell like hot cakes even if they have a female/gay protagonists?

If someone asks why I'm using an alt account, CGI and Truckusaurus got me a temp approval until I get my iconic and notorious "kurasakiichimaru" account back. :p

GTA 6 SJW Edition?

No thank you

I don't have to read any more from you to know that you're some kind of feminist who can't appreciate how far we've come compared to a few decades ago. You will always have something to complain about.

Fuck forced diversity and fuck SJW. Making protagonists "diverse" just for the sake of diversity is akin to artistic  suicide.

I get you. I was thinking more of a bait and switch like they did in MGS2; slowly revealing about his sexuality to the gamer. The problem would lie again on how gamers would see this, since there are people who aren't too appreciative of homosexuality in any form.

And you're right. I didn't see it from that perspective. Having to make a choice about "Do I go gay or do I stay straight?" can be problematic. However, the character's homosexuality can be very implied and hinted at several occasions, so it's not blatant. It would also help if sexuality doesn't become an overly explicit topic.
