I'm all about equal rights of others, but simply making a character gay or having a lead female protagonist to the story because they want to diversify isn't a recipe for success. With that said, if they did add a character(s) with those traits and it fit the story, I would have no problem playing it.

Why not just have a female homosexual and kill two birds with one stone? A lipstick lesbian wouldn’t get many complaints, I imagine.
