Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rumor: In late 2018 Switch will get update with a bunch of new third party AAA and 1st party games

"You think Nintendo is weak in this early 2018 but they'll fix that in late 2018 update with a bunch of new third party AAA and first party games. Stay Tuned".

"My point of view may be different from the overall point of view of Nintendo fans but I think in all honesty that Nintendo will beat last year with this end of the year".

About this source, this guys was one of the people who leaked/teased the Labo announcement a week prior, he works at Ubisoft, and helped with Mario + Rabbids. He making a new game for Switch also.

I'll believe it when I see it, but even now the second half of the year is miles better than the first.

So they will fix a weak early 2018 by announcing games in late 2018...?

It meant 2018 being weak as a whole

Are these third party AAA titles exclusives or what? I don't see multiplays saving the year. I think the year will be saved by Smash+Pokémon+another unannounced title

No, I think here is point that most announced Switch games will be released probably from September-October, while we have new announcements ever Direct and I suppose we will have bigger announcements around E3 and at E3.

So 2019 is the big year then?

Fair enough. Its just worded weirdly.

Pretty safe bet. That's like saying ''a console will get games''. Well yeah,

we'll see what's true at e3

Few unannounced AAA titles and few 1st party titles would make this year quite strong overall despite Q1 was week, and he actualy saying that this year like hole will be stronger than last one.
