I believe we should vote for LoD since it would make one member in particular very happy.

Just for that, I vote they remake everything except final fantasy IX.  😜

Yeah ps5 port in 2 or 3 years 

Any of the following I'd be happy with (Be even more happy if it was all of them lol):

FF6 - It's one of the best and it'll be a huge upgrade from its original 16bit graphics that many would love to see.
FF8 - Amazing game regardless of what others say. The character designs, monsters, settings looks so cool it I'd love to see it in its HD glory
FF9 - Seriously, it's the absolute best of them all. No other explanation needed.  And would it be so hard to keep the coop feature since they took it down on the PSN port.

Honorable mentions:

FF1 - The one that started it all. Warrior of Light character is also getting a lot more marketing attention these days getting up there with Cloud, Lightning and Noctis.
Crisis Core FF - Best FF spin off that deserves the respect and treatment as a mainline FF game. (or at least port remaster it like FF Type-0, it doesn't deserve to be stuck on the PSP physical only!!!)
FFXIII series - No need to remake but just port remaster the trilogy would be nice.

It seems like everyone thinks LoD was a Square game. Maybe Sony will take that offer though, they are remaking MediEvil.

Parasite Eve 1 pls. And not in that style like 3th birthday was. But like the original but high res textures/backgrounds. More weapons and enemies!

My bad, although is it really that surprising since Square made so many great JRPG's back in the day. Besides I thought JRPG would have known, since I don't care all that much about FF. Oh well the original Nier gets my vote.

This! It can be very dated, and could use face lift. I argue against SNES JRPGs because they always use that chibi artstyle that I hate. 

You sure, you trust current square with the best Final Fantasy?

I don't think the SNES games need remakes. The artstyle still looks fine today.
