Gravity Rush 2 is so underappreciated that even in this thread it only got mentioned twice. Since the first Gravity Rush is also technically this gen, I'll just include both.

Yes... It definitely won't be on any greatest games of all time lists a decade from now, but it easily surpasses both Sticker Star and Super Paper Mario (#YeahISaidIt)... While it definitely has some flaws in its pacing and the Thing feature, the humor is fantastic, the characters and worlds charming, and the hammer power ups you get after fights make battles actually worthwhile (Sticker Star's biggest flaw)... |
Well, I don't know much about SPM and I've only played a bit of Sticker Star, but from the bits I played, I definitely feel Color Splash is a much bigger improvement compared to SS.

Agreed on this, I enjoyed it although I didn't finish it. I think it deserves a second chance on the Switch. |
Yeah, definitely. I think the game's too good to be simply forgotten on the Wii U. I'd consider buying it again just to have easier access to it.

I agree that AssCreed: Origins is a very good game. I'd probably give it a 9 out of 10.
As for H:ZD, I thought it was a very good game. But, people talk about it like its one of the best of all time. It just isn't.

I actually enjoyed it more than I thought i would, once I got over it's short comings and slow start, I found the further into the story I went the more it grew on me to the point that at the end I was hoping for at least some DLC to tide me over till a sequel was made. |
I agree. I liked it a lot. Frankly, while I agree that the facial animations were bad at first, I think people way overstated the game's problems. It really sucks that the series has been put on ice.

Are you serious? I've never heard anyone state such a thing. |
It really is. I can't think of any game recently that's had me hooked to the point that I'll keep playing till completion.
Only titles I can think of that made me feel that way was, dues ex mankind divided and Zombi
There's something about it that I find amazing
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
Titanfall 2 is really the game we needed, but not the one we deserved. Free DLC, tons of modes, lots of customization, MECHS. Maybe if it had a name other than '2', I feel the lukewarm reception of the first one turned people off.

For me, almost everything on AC is far better in Horizon, and the few aspects that are better in AC aren't really very important.
The game for me felt like playing a downgraded version of Horizon, it doesn't even deserves the 81 metascore.

Mass effect andromeda wasn't the best game ever, but it got a ton of shit for minor issues. Really hope we eventually get a sequel. |
i havent finished it yet. but im not a fan of rider, i basically think he is a bitch. so i dont necessarily want a sequel as much as i would want a new Mass Effect.
its just a shame that one game, that was decent, and oh, had subpar animations boohoo, managed to convince EA that Mass Effect wasnt worth it anymore.
Call of Duty: WW2
While the game has its fair share of problems and is far from perfect (and the supply drops suck ass), they absolutely nailed the gameplay. It just feels right like an online-shooter should feel. I'm goddamn loving it. Oh, and the campaign is also decent.
Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

The only shame here is that the game ended up like that in the first place. The terrible writing was much more of a factor than the animations tbh. It (and EA) deserved every flack it got.
