Forums - Sony Discussion - PS4 Beat Previous Black Friday Weeks Except 2013 (UK)

Wait, I thought it isn't important how much a console sells? I thought it only matters how fast they sell? :D

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

According to who? Black friday is a american holiday and thus the american sales of consoles is what really matters when you look at this particular day.

According to reality and facts. Did you even look at the thread you are in?

Globally in the US my friend.

Anyway fantastic new. 2017 has turned imtoba beast year.

I’m stilling betting that Sony’s 79 million by FY2017 end was a conservative estimate. 80-81 million seems more likely.

yup Black Friday is a thing even here in St Kitts....

I literally saw people lining outside a store to take advantage of some 75% off deals they had on that day.

Mind boggling.

Whoa! Great Sales for the PS4!!! UK showing it some love.....I wonder how it did in the states.

Only holiday sales matter.

Great news, I'm pleased by it. I would say it passed FM 5, 6 or 7 in UK already?

Very good black Friday deals in the UK for everything. Maybe they just don't have them anywhere near bridges some people live under. (Jk.)

PSVR looks like it has also sold very well too, now it is at a price people will gamble on. Pro with 3 or 4 games for £299 has seen a lot of people I know trading up. Switch also looks to be selling out, especially the Mario bundle.

Black Friday has been a thing for a few years in the UK, but it looks like most places have changed it from a weekends sales to 2 weeks sales, to stop stampedes. You must never watch TV to not see all the black Friday sales adverts...

got a pro with Starwars 2, fallout 4 (already have), GT sport and one other game for £199.99 from curry's
