The Nintendo Switch hold is mighty impressive. And congratulations on the 3DS version of Dragon Quest to finally edge out its PS4 counterpart.

I was quite skeptical about Dragon Quest's performance but it seems it ended up doing really well on both platforms.

Switch@~90k That's very nice, I expected a much bigger drop from last week.

Did not expect Switch to have this many units available following Splatoon 2's release week. Dragon Quest is huge with 2m between 3DS and PS4.

2,099,203 copies of DQ11 (without digital sales), thats close enough I think its fair to say ~2.1m.

With digital sales I wouldnt be surprised if its already over 2.5m.

Everyone talking about the Switch on the first page although this is the big Dragon Quest 11 release week. lol

Both Dragon Quest 11 versions did fantastic and combined they did 2.1M first week which is truly insane!!!

Hardware this week is great too, Dragon Quest 11 gave a huge boost to 3DS and PS4 hardware numbers!!!

HOLY CRAP!This week is just beyond amazing for about everyone.

3DS did about a whopping 140 k this week.For a system that is in its 7th year, that is amazing balls! DQ XI also did amazing on it, selling over 1 million units.

PS4 doing around 100 K is also incredible.It should go without saying thatDQ sales on it are also incredible.

But honestly, Switch sales are the most impressive here.It managed to sell 90K.It dropped only 10% from last week!It will obviously go down through the weeks, since I dont believe that Nintendo managed to up the production that much, but it just goes on to prove that Nintendo did improve the production after all.And the baseline for the system might just increase from the 25-30 k.Can we expect a 50k baseline when all is said and done?

For Splatoon, given the install base, its a great hold, and it should sell as good as the hardware itself for a good while.
