Season 7B of Dance Moms will air later today and I'm pretty excited to see how the new dance instructor will teach and if the moms will end up liking her. Does anyone else watch the show? If you do are you excited for the show to return?

No, but I used to deal with one of them at work semi-regularly. Bit of a wreck.

Never heard of it but I know I already hate it. In fact now I'm mad I know something like this exists and that space in my brain could have been filled with more useful info.

I think its a pretty good show.

I've never heard of it myself, have no idea what it is or how good it is.

There's a dance company that a group of moms send their daughters to. The dancers dance in competition around the nation against other dance teams. Some dancers that do really well get rewarded with solo dances. The moms usually gets jealous of other dancers that aren't their daughters so that causes drama between them.

The show has been known to boost the careers of really popular dancers. Look at Maddie Ziegler who is one of the most famous dancers in the world. She started out in dance moms.

That show is a goddamn travesty, it feels dirty and like those little girls are being used for their greedy, money hungry moms. That's a first impression of the show anyways, anything that TLC (the learning channel, oh the irony) puts out is usually, IMO, a trainwreck of a show. I mean, Toddlers and Tiaras and Here comes honey boo boo are the worst things to happen on television, those were borderline national tragedies.

Is this another one of those Poor-nography shows where you basically have a version of some terrible part of reality turned up to 11 when the camera's are pointed at it?

Never seen it OP, I don't invest much time in "reality" TV shows.
