I know we have nothing to go off, but the Switches launch, the fact that it's the only current Nintendo hardware on the market leads me to believe it's going to sell at least 80 million. I'll say 85 million all said and done.
Thoughts?

To far out to be able to predict currently... it could be anything from 50m to 100m.
I think a better question would be something like :
"Do you think Switch beats PS4 in yearly sales (2017), in the US?"
January to June 2017 (NPD supposed leak data)
PS4: 1,780,423
Xbox One: 988,946
Switch:1,572,062
This is a intresting question instead, of people guessing at something you cant possibly reliably predict yet.

In the US, I just don't see it happening. Way too many huge titles coming this year that will not only be extremely popular on PS4, but won't even be available on Switch. CoD, Battlefront, and Destiny are to push some serious numbers for the PS4 this holiday.
Nintendo's hardware is the hardest to predict tbh. It's not like Playstation who usually guaranteed to hit 100 million or Xbox who usually sold less than PS. I mean we just got the worst selling Nintendo's console right after their best selling one.
A handheld gamer only (for now).
...It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matteeeerrr
I'd say 60 mil is a safe bet.

And Switch has its own titles, namely Splatoon, Mario Odyssey (which is going to be a big seller).
Probably around WiiU + 3DS sales, which should end up around 90 million.
its hard to see realistically. although I personally see it overcoming the ps4, it really depends. revisions can breathe more life into the system. something like a switch sp with clamshell design, larger battery, and a X2.
but realistically its not going to sell like the wii U, gamecube, or even n64 numbers. its going for somewhere between 50 mil and 120 mil (anything higher is WILDLY unrealistic, its not going to sell ps2/ds amounts unless they do something crazy) but exactly WHERE is hard to predict due to ninty's unpridictability.
