I'd be a person that would get a Switch but not care about Zelda. I don't give a shit about Zelda.

If this is a parody thread then it fails from a logical standpoint.
It's trying to create a false dichotomy where the option of "buying the Switch right now for Zelda but also all the games that will release in the future" doesn't exist. Which, more than likely, is the option most people would choose.
How many people who have bought the Switch AND Zelda so far would have done so if Zelda was announced as the ONLY game that would ever be made for the system? I would imagine the number would go down by quite a bit.
well OP tried to make zelda sales look mind boggling by implying that zelda managed to sell 4m even though theoretically it cost $300 with the console.. But I guess he didnt think it thru and fell flat, i m sure he will get back up and will entertain us with his new ripley's believe it or not.

The logic in this thread is just as lacking as in the troll threads he may or may not be parodying, so he doesn't really "connect the dots". Wether his motivation differs from a regular troll creating a bad thread doesn't really matter when the result is the same.

(1) According to VGC-forums Zelda has no competition, so if there are no games outside Zelda you purchase the console for Zelda.
(2) Well, but it did sold the most copies, excluding PC which isn't tracked well here. If we include PC, probably For Honor, Ghost Recon and Biohazard sold more, but VGC has no good numbers for PC. That's why I wrote console game and explained it in the OP.
(3) But I didn't change any facts. Which facts should I have changed? You confuse me. Be more concrete, if you know I got something wrong you should point out the correction instead of being nebulous as you are.

That's exactly true. I was on the fence if I buy Zelda for WiiU or get a Switch. But as it became clear that I wasn't at home the release weekend and I wanted to play Zelda from the beginning I opted to get the mobile console for Zelda.
