Not really. He is able to connect the dots and his motivation differs.

The logic in this thread is just as lacking as in the troll threads he may or may not be parodying, so he doesn't really "connect the dots". Wether his motivation differs from a regular troll creating a bad thread doesn't really matter when the result is the same.
