I wish my winters were in double digit weather.

Seriously? Cold here is 14 celsius. About 60.... ? fahrenheit.

Wow, 14 celsius is not even cold.  It's 16 celsius here right now and the majority of people is not even using a coat. (I'm from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, by the way)

About June 1st, I love it. Because from now on finally the weather will drop from double digit. Just two more weeks of classes in college.

That also happens when I open up VGC but that never stopped me. I never understood the problem with cold weather. I mean sure, it's not pleasant but it's not like you have to endure it for hours. It's a slight inconvenience for a few minutes. It doesn't matter if it's 0° or -40°, cold is cold. That's why you go into warm places. In summer there is no escape unless you're one of the few people who own proper air conditioning. But air conditioning isn't nearly everywhere while warm places in the cold are.

Cold doesn't make you sweat and stinky.
Cold doesn't give you cancer.
Cold doesn't make your head dizzy.
Cold is easily solved by putting on more clothes.

People who break down just because they have to stand in the cold for a few seconds are weird.

BTW I live in a country where 99% of all households don't have air conditioning.

Heat doesn't make you cough and sneeze all the time.
Heat doesn't give you cancer either, does it? Isn't that the UV radiation in light? Considering you can get sunburnt just as badly, if not worse, in some very cold places that's certainly not a heat exclusive thing.
Neither does heat? I've not really heard of that before. I have heard of heat stroke, but isn't that only like for really old people

Sure hot weather isn't perfect by a long shot, but it beats cold weather at least! And if 99% of households don't have air conditioning... well then that's just 99% of households that are potential buyers of air conditioning!

Air conditioning is highly unusual here in germany, at least for flats for living (office space might be air conditioned more often, but so far I never worked in one). As you mostly rent flats here, you also cannot install air conditioning, thats the landlord who has to do it.

Heat can be solved fairly easily as well. Don't do any strenuous activities, poor cold water on yourself, solved! And it's not like cold doesn't bring other problems too, snow and frozen roads can be pretty dangerous!

I cannot shower at work. I'm a programmer, a shower would damage the computer. Also, constantly showering make the skin all wrinkly.

14C is our summer...and that only lasts for one weekend if you are lucky (UK).

Heat doesn't make you cough and sneeze all the time. It does for people with allergies.

Heat doesn't give you cancer either, does it? Isn't that the UV radiation in light? Considering you can get sunburnt just as badly, if not worse, in some very cold places that's certainly not a heat exclusive thing. People don't really go outside near-naked to lay outside in side in cold weather.

Neither does heat? I've not really heard of that before. I have heard of heat stroke, but isn't that only like for really old people. It's called dehydration and it affects anyone who doesn't drink enough water.

Heat is easily solved by putting on less clothes. A person can only take off so much clothes before they are arrested unless they are an attractive woman.

Sure hot weather isn't perfect by a long shot, but it beats cold weather at least! And if 99% of households don't have air conditioning... well then that's just 99% of households that are potential buyers of air conditioning! It only beats cold weather in the sense that women are more inclined to wear less in hot weather.

I'll leave this here for ya.  https://joshmitteldorf.scienceblog.com/2013/02/25/cold-temperature-and-life-span-its-not-about-the-rate-of-living/

"When cold-blooded animals are exposed to a cold environment, their metabolisms slow and they live longer. When warm-blooded animals are exposed to a cold environment, their metabolisms speed up (to maintain body temperature) and they live longer. In a new study from University of Michigan, both responses are traced to a common genetic mechanism that senses the temperature and signals a slower rate of aging. This adds to a mountain of evidence that animals life spans are fixed by genetic choice, and not by any kind of passive physical deterioration."

My favorite season is almost over. :(

In spring (and autumn) temperatures are nice here, between 10 and 25°C.

Winter can be annoying, but at least I can go inside or put more clothes on. In summer however, it's hot everywhere and I can't take of my skin.

Good day, worked, worked out, catched the sermon in a small church nearby. Now I´m cooking dinner.

Good for you dude. I had a decent day too. Good workout. Walked a few miles. Got a fair amount done.

Lol, loved the new avatar. I am trying to get into running and walking as well, to fight my insomnia. I downloaded like 100 Chuck Smith sermons and go running for a mile or two while I listen, like, in the middle of the night. Then I walk back home. Can do this in my town because it is decent weather even in the winter, and it is the safest town in Brazil, thank the Lord.

You, as I understand is in a whole other level. But you´re younger too, so, you will someday feel the weight of the years, like I do. =P

God bless you bro!

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Ok.
