Trump is far worse than any leader from the past. America is doomed under the leadership of President Trump.

Oh noes! The SKY IS FALLING! I mean, absolutely nothing has changed in my life, nor the lives of anyone I know, whatsoever. Nor does it look like anything will in the forseeable future, but.. AHHH! Doomsday! Russians! AHHHHH!

Remember, much of the right said the same about Obama..

People like to always believe that they're living in the end times, or on the brink of some catastrophic shift.. It makes life far more exciting. Seen a few too many Hollywood movies I think..

To answer your question in the thread title, sort of, just someone shockingly uglier than Stalin.

Did Obama pass laws extremely damaging to society, health, environment and economy? That's probably the reason why nobody felt an effect.

We do not feel anything yet because all of the plans of Trump are not in full effect yet. It will be more apparent in a few years. But that doesn't mean we should postpone the protests to when we can feel the impact of bad decisions that could have been prevented.

I mean, the massive banker bailouts under Obama (ie inflating currency by printing money out of thin air and aiding the "too big to fail banks"in an anti-capitalist move) probably won't have a great effect on the US economy, but no, other than that, I don't think he has. Nor has/will Trump.

The bailouts were a necessity because the financial system was broken to begin with thanks to decades of big business lobbying. He tried to prosecute the bankers responsible but was even hindered in that.

Under Trump those same bankers will be rewarded again for irresponsible behavior thanks to the systemic degradation of regulations. He cuts funding for regulators while giving tax breaks to the richest. That is not what will improve the economy or the already massive wage gap and billions of tax deficits. Add to that stupid decisions like increasing funding for expensive and useles coal jobs or spending billions on useless walls.

Trump is poison for the economy.

Now, your username kind of confuses me. What do you consider to be socialism, exactly? Because most socialists would generally have extreme issues with the US long before Trump's presidency.

The issues I've had with the US up to 112 days ago are in a different league than the issues I have with the DPRA.  As bad as things were before, things are so bad now that I (and plenty of other people I know worldwide) won't even acknowledge it as a legitimate country.  "Extreme issues" are even more extreme.  Looks internally consistent to me.

I don't consider my form of Socialism to have changed since you asked me about it on my wall, but you could very well be more knowledgable than I about how bad things were in the US.  Maybe things weren't that different between then and now, but it looks a lot different from where I sit.  If this is the case and you bring me up to speed, I'll probably conclude that the US became West Korea even earlier than I thought...and I'd have to keep this in mind during the next 100 day review of Trump, because I consider such a transition worth mentioning if it happened when I think it happened.

So...internal consistency either way.  Hopefully that clears up any confusion.

But wait, not a single long term decision has been made by Trump outside of the confirmation of a supreme court justice. In what way has the country irreversibly changed course?

Where to start eh? When the man lies more than he tells the truth. Most recent the FBI director fireing justification. But here, have a list. It took me seconds to google lots of them.

Before you think that's not much, that was only for the month of January. ^^

Cool I see what you did there! Im asking about the lie you were referring to. So how is the justification a lie again. You wouldn't be spreading fake news would you?

I presented proof and you're saying fake news? Truly a trump fan!

So, what about affordable health care for everyone? How is that going? Dude, aren't you ashamed of yourself? People will die because of this con artist and you still have the gall to come defend him.
