People like to always believe that they're living in the end times, or on the brink of some catastrophic shift.. It makes life far more exciting. Seen a few too many Hollywood movies I think..

Did Obama pass laws extremely damaging to society, health, environment and economy? That's probably the reason why nobody felt an effect.

We do not feel anything yet because all of the plans of Trump are not in full effect yet. It will be more apparent in a few years. But that doesn't mean we should postpone the protests to when we can feel the impact of bad decisions that could have been prevented.

I mean, the massive banker bailouts under Obama (ie inflating currency by printing money out of thin air and aiding the "too big to fail banks"in an anti-capitalist move) probably won't have a great effect on the US economy, but no, other than that, I don't think he has. Nor has/will Trump.
