Adam and Eve from Nier Automata, even thought you only fight one the two are there so I think it counts

Launch Bell Gargoyles. After a patch they felt severely nerfed.

Oda and Yuki Ona are still tough if you try to beat them legit. I beat Honda and Tachibana first try though.

I found Oda and Yuki easier to get the pattern, maybe because the arena is much bigger than Honda and Tachibana's one.
Which weapon did you use for it? H&T? No living weapon or massive sets boost + close combat, yeah, was really hard for me.

I use axe for everything. It is kind of funny because Tachibana was the hardest of the 4 alone at the time, but quite easy duo. The other 3 only takes 1 try, possibly due to being used to the game by then and finally having a good amount of stats for axe build.

The strategy is to just ignore Honda, while dodging Tachibana's attacks. When he is low on stamina you can go for some good strikes and usually get a punishing grapple, which also makes you invincible to Honda's attacks. Honda usually keeps in the back, and walks slowly. Tachibana is relentless but prone to using all his stamina.

Where is the option in the poll for Koume and Kotake from Ocarina of Time? They sure were amazing the first time I encountered them!

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Smough and Ornstein from Dark Souls.

O&S without a doubt.

Tachibana trashed me in the last demo, but in the game I beat him on my first try xP

And yeah, I know how to deal with them, I did beat them, the problem is that even as Honda is slow he can start thowing stones and trusting into you from a blind spot while you are trying to wear Tachibana draw for the punish blows. I can't even remember how many times that sucker killed me out of the blue, lol.

Now with Oda and Yuki, I find the opposite to be the best strategy, maybe that's why you found it harder.
Oda has a lot more of speed moves than Tachibana and Yuki also have them herself, but always walk REAL slow.
The best thing is to just ignore Oda as crazy as that may sound, put a guard up when you can't see him but focus entirely on Yuki, bait her attacks and get behind her until she stars doing the motion for the defensive ice explosion and run away, when she loses 40 to 50% of her HP she will start spamming her trusting grapple attack, which if you know the distance you can easily avoid it without doing a thing, and she gets vulnerable after it for a little while for a good chance to attack her, once she is dead and you are 1 on 1 with Oda, side dogdes do the trick, never try to dodge backwards because he follows it, but you can always dodge sideways and not only avoid him but also attack him quickly!

I found Oda and Yuki much more consistently doable and Honda and Tachibana way more random.

The problem is likely axe, with C agility. Seems to slow, before Oda or Yuki hit me.

While for Tachibana, you hit him twice and his guard is broken, and it only takes a few grapples before he is dead. Yuki and Oda don't guard, so they rarely get grappled. After Tachibana is easily dispatched, killing Honda twice as he will always heal to full is easy as he easily manipulated.

In the 1v1s I could go full retard and outdamage them by trading blows efficiently.

I love the Lahkesis and Atropos fight in GoW2. Heck, I love all those boss battles in GoW2.

I'm struggling to think of more. Koume and Kotake in Ocarina. Bogey Alpha and Bravo in Vanquish.

Ehhh, but they were so easy xP

On titan difficulty they where not that easy though

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
