Here you'll see a lot of people who are typically cool with each other be at each others in political threads. Politics is a sensitive topic. Which leads me to ask: Would you date/marry someone with opposing political views?

Personally, as long as everything else worked fine in the relationship and politics didnt negatively impacted how we saw or felt about each other and were able to respectfully disagree, I'd be fine with it. However, I speak without experience as I've never been with people with opposite political views. Closest I've gotten is I'm very anti-military/anti-war which is offensive to many people I've dated, including my gf XD

If by disagreeing you mean a nazi who hates anyone who's gay or jewish, then no.

If it's something small, then I don't mind. It'd be childish if I rejected someone if we disagreed on marijuana or whatever the heck we will disagree on

My wife is full, 1000%%%% democrat and I respect that, I myself am not 100% republican but I tend to agree a lot more with the republican party than the democrat party. Needless to say is that Trump's name is forbidden in my house, lol

Honestly, unless they were a fascist/ethnonationalist/dominionist/absolutist monarchist* or an authoritarian-leftist/technocrat/tankie *, which tells me they likely have a very violent personality, I could probably find some common ground with them politically. I am an individualist anarchist. If I only dated people who were also individualist anarchists I definitely would die alone (I probably will die alone anyway; nothing wrong with that.)

Most people are apolitical, or marginally political. For those who are enthusiastic about politics, I think I can reason with them fine and find where we agree and disagree. 

Otherwise, we'd just have to agree not to talk politics.

Depends. I don't dislike people with different political views. I don't dislike the alt-lite or democrats. However if she's just pushing her views on others and being on that stereotypical "russia, trump" stupid msm comments or making stupid statements about feminism like religion oppresses women, and then gives Islam a pass (I personally have no problem with Islam, but I feel views should be consistent)or anything hypocritical like that then I couldn't . People who aren't shills for a person or party they're fine with me.  TBH, honestly I don't even mind if a girl does that, I would probably just go off overall personality.
