As long as it doesn't become an issue for the relationship. The common saying "opposites attract" though not necessarily true can also be a strong point in the relationship. I am not a fan of conflict though, so it can't be a huge issue.

It would depend on how compatible we are with everything else. Though I don't think I'd be able to tolerate a Nazi or a racist, then again if by a small chance I truly believed I could help that person come around.... maybe. Call me crazy but I've learned that many racist are just people who do not understand the issue at hand, a true Nazi on the other hand is likely beyond any rational reasoning. Xenophobia is a real threat to humanity and our future. I do believe that it is our responsibility to help educate on that matter to those who are willing to listen.

Depends how different, and how flexible she is politically. Certain issues I don't care enough to make a big deal out of it, and might even cave to her side. Other issues, like abortion, death penalty, or religious freedom, I would never plan to cave on, and if she was inflexibly opposed to what I stood for, I can't see it working out well.
