I was talking more about the author, inr elation to the PS5 mention. We've seen other platforms make their leaps and marks each gen, I don't think it's accurate to say "PS5 graphics move closer to photorealism", especially if other platforms are moving towards that general direction (barring Nintendo, which prefers unique art styles over photorealism).

PS5 will be how powerful if it releases in 3-4 years for a good price? As powerful as the top PC is right now? Slightly more?

We don't have photo-realism there yet, so we won't see it on PS5 either. Games will look shit-hot though

And every generation they've been right.  With each gen we do indeed get closer to photo realism on Playstation.  PS5 will be another step closer. Probably be PS6 before we achieve it to a sufficient standard though.
