Forums - Gaming Discussion - Crash Bandicoot Trilogy will rocket past 20 million copies - Why aren't we talking about this?

If it goes multiplatform! We already know it is coming to PS4/PS4 Pro "first" but we don't know if that means it will release on Xbox One and PC as well.

I could see Crash Trilogy selling over 20 million copies. It is not full priced and it appears to be a great game from a much anticipated remake of 3 classic games! 20 million is not unthinkable when we see Kinect Adventures and Mario Kart doing those numbers at higher prices.

10 million on PS4

5 million on Xbox One

2 million on Switch

3 millon on PC

At least!

It wont even do close to 10% of that number.Multiplat or not.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

You don't think it will do 2 million being multiplat? I BET youre wrong!

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Its a remaster, so not everyone will rebuy the game, no matter how pretty it is.Second is that the game wont get great reviews, simply because the gameplay is very outdated.Im expecting a metacritic score betwenn 70 - 75.With that score, it will be hard to bring new fans, especially with the stellar year we got until now.And Crash has been irrelevant for a long while now.It dosent have that many fans to bring it, with fans alone, to 2 millions.

It may be possible, but I dont see it reaching that number.

Won't even come close.

No offense, but the game is simply meant to refresh fans of the series. Crash is dead. It's been dead for a reason. The simple nature of it doesn't work in today's age.

That isn't to say I hate crash. I love it, but it's obvious what this remaster was made for. It's to let old fans enjoy themselves and let kids also get a decent game. 20 million is extremely unrealistic though. I think 2-4 million would be an optimistic guess.

With the amount of predictions you're making, you can be the next Pachter if you keep it up.

3M would already be above expectations (on PS4). It's a bunch of PS1 games, they really show their age. All the levels are pretty much straight narrow path ways..

I cant see it selling more than 1.5m. Hopefully im wrong, I just dont see it.
