Every year i make about 3-5 very bold predictions, and 1 of them is extremely bold.... This is that one of 2017. 

Anywayz im gonna say Nintendo Switch is going to sell 4mil (or close to) by end of the year. It will be a huge success there despite being a home console. It has the HH mode going for it

Just want to say thats only if splatoon 2 comes out before Sept (so delays cancels this out)

What are your thoughts? Can switch sell 4mil in its first year?

My last bold prediction was pokemon sumo shipping 15mil by years end. Was 14.68mil. Im feeling confident! (Pls dont bomba switch!)

We would need something big to push it there. I don't think Pokemon Stars is coming this year, so either a Youkai Watch or a Monster Hunter would have to release to make those numbers even close. Splatoon 2 alone isn't going to cut it.

It very hard to predict sales of Switch at this point, only what I am sure it will sell much better than Wii U, how exactly much better it hard to say, but I can say that at end of 2018. (so less than 2 years on market) will pass Wii U LT numbers.

Basing your prediction on the assumption that a game will not be delayed is certainly bold.

I like this one ! supposing all the games Nintendo said are coming out in 2017 make it to their planned release date (so I'm including Xenoblade Chronicles 2) PLUS some unannounced game like MH, Pokémon or Yokai Watch then I think this is possible.

3DS sold over 4 million in 2011 and over 5 million in 2012 & 2013 each.

I think it's doable first year. It's going to be a big hit in Japan right out of the gate. The question is how it does in the long run in Japan. To sustain 5 years of great sales it's going to need Pokemon, Monster Hunter, and several hardware revisions down the line.

While I doubt it will sell as well outside of Japan as inside Japan, I expect global sales to be more stable overall than Japan sales, with lower highs but higher lows.

I think the problem with the prediction is that Nintendo might have difficulties producing that amount in such a short time, especially if it´s succesful elsewhere (whiwh is likely).
