Forums - Gaming Discussion - 1-2-Switch costs $50 - Is that expensive?

Yes, it's expensive. I usually get games that look much more interesting than that for $5 or less. $50 is outrageous.

I wouldn't buy it for 5 bucks, so they can charge whatever they want...

For some people it is, for some people it isn't. Personally, I'll find value in it at $40. But some people who put more value towards mini game - games will probably find it more worth it. It's probably going to be really fun with friends.

This sounds like someone shamelessly "inspired" himself on the foundation of the "Switch helps you date women", and just proceeded to write this. Tsk, tsk.

On a side note, that's four people that have failed to read past the title.

I'm sure girls will love to play around with the HD rumble.

1-2 switch really should get a M rated edition

Ideally it should be a free pack-in title.
I just don't see the point in buying this at (almost) full price, when an epic adventure like Zelda costs only 10 bucks more.

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

I don't think any mini game collection is ever worth that much, but when people are choosing from 5, and something like Carnival Games sold well on Wii, there comes a point where I relinquish any notion of why people buy what they buy.

on one hand, it doesnt look so good. but then remember that Nintendo Land had relatively the same response and today its still the best party game on the Wii U

Its $70 AUD here.......... Should be priced below $40
