6/10. Zelda easily the high point, stunning trailer. Mario, Fire Emblem Warriors, Arms, Splatoon 2, Project Octo-whatever, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Dragon Quest XI all good. Really impressed with joy-con capabilities.

However: price is too high, too few details on what's actually available at launch, very little first party or third party software actually shown, still lots of questions, no details on online services/indie/retro support, no pack-in title.

Good content let down by poor presentation. Hoping there's more information today through Treehouse.

5/10. The price won't help them, paid online is another advantage gone. The start was god awful and it seems they still want the Wii audience back. The games? Very little release dates but at least they got decent block busters during each season (Zelda on launch, Splatoon on summer, Mario on Holiday) Xenoblade 2 looks cool but didn't get much, Zelda looks like it plays great but I still find the visual underwhelming.

I don't know the future but I don't see many people outside of the devoted Nintendo fans going after the Switch and look where that got the Wii U. It may miracolously strike a cord with casuals again, but I doubt it. All in all, aggressively average. There were some nice surprises (xenoblade 2 and splatoon 2) but still felt average.

I'd give it a good 8/10

Expectations were just too high. Let's be happy with that they've shown: Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, badass Zelda trailer, a fresh 3D Mario, third party exclusives, ports and remasters, and other stuff.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

4/10. Some good games, but they're not coming out at launch. It looks like there's only 1-2 Switch, as BotW can be played on the Wii U and the others seem to be ports as well.

good:

Mario (though not graphically)
Zelda looks amazing and hits launch (hopefully that includes EU)
Xenoblade 2
SMTV (if it's exclusive)
Splatoon 2, so glad it's not a sequel, and hopefully it will have a bigger campaign than last time
ARMS might be ok, I felt the same way about Splatoon initially, but not full price

Bad:
Paid online. If it is as bad as on Wii U and they want money for it, they can piss off
None of the Joy crap did anything for me
Graphically the system doesn't appear to be noticeably better than Wii U. May be different when not watching 480p vid
Launch is garbage
No Xenoblade ports

4/10

I was so looking forward to it, can't believe they fucked up so badly. No way O'm getting it first year unless there are multiple big games kept back for later reveal. What the fuck happened to best launch window ever as was touted by the """"""""insiders"""""""""?

8/10. Cute and calm presentation, I really like those down-to-earth Nintendo guys.

Zelda at launch
Super Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade 2 (scored by Yasunori Mitsuda and Ace)
SMT
Fire Emblem Fighters
That SE RPG

Motion controls back and and an option.

Price is 50€ too high though (not for me but for the casual audience), paid online is crap on any system.

Extremely mixed, 5/10

The highs were magnificent, the lows catastrophic.

Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2 look amazing, and Splatoon 2 instead of just a port of the original is a pleasant surprise.

But just about everything else was terrible, especially the price and paid online.

I will give it a 7

$300 Eh

Paid Online... Disgusting

Shit Battery... Yuck

The games... Magnificent

Zelda Trailer... God Tier

Battery is the one I went out with a big ? in my face. They said it would range from 3 hours to 6 hours and half right?

2.5-6 hours

But the minimum is my worry... Why is the minimum 2.5???

2/10. Terrible presentation, 1 tranlator sounded like this was his 1st gig. I didn't mind the price or the paid online, but good god there's only 3 games confirmed for launch. You CAN'T announce a system then expect pre-orders with 3 games at launch. THIS was the time, NOT LATER, for that information. I suppose that's presuming there are more than just those 3 games. The only reason it doesn't get a 0 is because the best info came at the end which means they had the logic to end on a high note.
Also, they said you use a smart device/app to coordinate online gaming. So if i don't own a smartphone i can't game on the platform online? I knew this may end up turning out bad, but man did i hope.
