I will be interesting to see the hardware boost

itll be notable boost but no1 should expect a huge one as the 3ds is in its last years and a main pokemon game already came out 3 years ago.

I don't know, guys. I guess time will say, I suppose.

that's because you simply downplayed Pokemon brand power to sell 10 million in this year alone when it's already proven that feats before.

Yayyy, this is gonna be a massive hit!

This is insane. I have no words.

Or that maybe, in a year where most games have underperformed in comparison to previous million sellers (Gears of War, Deus Ex, Halo, just to name a few profilic examples), there's the undeniable possibility, as smaller as it could be, that Pokemon might be overshipping 10 million despite whatever it has proven before.

If you want to call "downplay" just a thought of mine, go for it, but you shouldn't get too defensive about this in any case.

This makes me happy. Pokemon has managed to remain relevant for a long time now. Its amazing to see how a franchise mainly aimed at the younger players, appeals to pretty much everyone and is still so strong after many years.

Ryng is going to have a heart attack :p

He must be asleep still 😴

Isn't Ryng Italian? If so, he better be awake, it's 3pm over there! :P

Also 10m Initial shipment? Wow. Stores must be ordering like crazy.  But I guess high initial shipments were to be expected, this is the most preorderd Nintendo game of all time after all. Pokemania in full forece! :D

lol, yeah i'm awake since a lot but some times i back at home only at 4:00 or 5:00 pm, cause i go to my grandmother home after school usually.

She prepare some Lasagne so fuuuuuuuuuuuuuucking sweet. Hell, i'm more happy to have eaten my grandmother lasagne than Pokémon shipping 10 million

...Still an amazing news of course. :P but i the lesson from today is:

Lasagne > Pokémon

That's absolutely insane. Hopefully it still has good legs and isn't overly front loaded

Your argument about games underperforming this year would have some merit if this wasn't Nintendo's most pre-ordered game of all time and if Pokemon Go hadn't caused sales of 3DS and previous Pokemon titles to increase in the last few months.

There is literally nothing that suggests this game is overshipped.

I don't really follow pre-orders that much, though if I were to point out another argument in my defense, there's been plenty of videogame-related things that have had great pre-orders but sales don't end up matching what the developer were hoping for. I'm not saying Nintendo will underperform or bomb in sales. I just pointed out that 10 million, being the number it is, felt kind of overshipping.

Well, I just admitted there's just a very small chance, so it's not like the odds for it to happen are big enough to be a concern I suppose. I just raised my thought back there based on what you already saw I posted.
