Yes of course. What right does anyone have to tell someone else what they can or can not do with their own body.

People don't become more dangerous and even they do there are other laws that govern aggressive behavior. You don't need extra laws that penalize other people's personal rights.

It does not make any sense to criminalize pot, not when alcohol and tobacco products are legal.

Legalize it, regulate it, tax it. This model has been proven to work over and over again while criminalizing it continuously fails everybody. All of the prohibitionist reasoning has been thoroughly debunked.

This should be a personal choice, even if you yourself would not make that decision.

I saw a few people bashing this post, and I'll admit I only read the first part and was a bit "wtf". I finished reading to see you singled out serial killers and rapists. I agree; those aren't people anymore, and as far as I'm concerned, they've lost their rights.

Although, it is healthier by ingesting it than inhaling it. Any smoke you put in your lungs isn't "good" for you.

It is weird that this poll is so close.

I think there are a lot of good reasons to legalize it, but personally my biggest reason is so that people can just shut the fuck up about it. Who knows, maybe once it's legalized some of the people who's #1 political concern was pot will go "Hey, hows Social Security doing?" and we'll be able to move on to actual important issues.

Only reason it's so close is because there are a lot of old people that just really need to die and stop voting with their backwards 1950's ideals.
