It's Nintendo. A chance of a delay is always fairly high no matter what.
Nintendo execs are likely late to their own wedding.

If they needed to delay NX, Zelda would release first on Wii U |
You really don't know what are you talking. Wii U is already dead for quite time now, Nintendo counting that will sell only 800k Wii U consoles in this year that will be ended in March 2017, Nintendo doesn't get receive any more orders for Wii U from ratailers, soon will be discounted and next year probably you don't have any Wii U consoles in stores, there is nothing coming for Wii U after Paper Mario except Zelda BotW.
So tell me why would Nintendo released their biggest project ever and one most hyped their game ever, first on very dead console that will discounted and thats their worst selling console ever, when they have totally new platform coming for which that same game would be huge and great launch title!? Wii U is dead, they dont care about Wii U for quite time now, whole their focus is on NX, they just thinking only about how to have have great NX launch with biggest posible effect on market.
Do you realise that main reason why Zelda BotW wasn't released in 2016. on Wii U is NX, and they will delayed game as much as necessary to be launched on NX first.

Last few year Nintendo was profitable, they have around $5 billions in cash and around $5 billions in assets, so they would need to have around $1 billion loss per year for around 10 year to bankrupt.
My mind says yes. My gut says yes. My faith in Nintendo....also says yes.

No I think their plan is to go in guns ablazing and keep the hype level up throughout. Keep advertising it aggressively so that in just a few months, everybody knows and gets excited by NX
Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also
Probably not, due to reasons people already listed. But Nintendo being Nintendo, who knows?
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Frustrating, isnt it.
Every month that goes by with no announcement makes "yes" more likely but in the end we just don't know.

I really don't think so, Nintendo have reiterated a March launch to investors several times now, and leaving such a massive gap in any kind of major release until Holiday 2017 would be pretty catastrophic for them. If NX development is really going horribly, then I guess anything can happen, but I personally don't think that's the case.
