Gravity Rush got delayed, well, that doesnt seem to be a surprise to a lot of people, after all. pretty much every Sony published game gets delayed. but why isnt anybody taking responsibility here? a thing i noticed, it seems that people are afraid to criticize Shu. i understand he is a very likeable person to the media and gamers. but holly hell, he is making a mess.
- Sony Santa Monica New IP cancelled after 4~ years of development, with studio layoffs
- Evolution leaving WWS, even though they are a talented team, and Driveclub Sold 2m+
- Amy Hennig leaving Naughty Dog. Resulting in Niel Drukman having to take charge, redoing a lot of work, and resulting in many delays for UC4.
- The Order, Driveclub, Bloodborne, No Mans Sky, Uncharted, Horizon, TLG, Gravity Rush, Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank, Until Dawn, The Tomorrow Children. All delayed, at least once.
- PSVR delayed
- Killstrain cancelled, another game at San Diego Studios cancelled, and everybody layed off except the MLB team.
- Sony Bend fumbling around 2 years without one project being greenlit and nothing to say for it. before moving to Unreal 4 and making Days Gone.
that is a huge list of failings in just half a generation. i mean holly hell, the guy is driving WWS into the ground. the guy needs to go, and more compitent management needs to come and take place.
