Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Captain Toad or Xenoblade Chronicles X?

Captain Toad just got a 20% discount in Europe if you're leaning for that one :).

I'd get Captain Toad but mostly because I like those types of games. On a side note, I saw Xenoblade Chronicles X on sale at my local Target for 17 dollars. I almost bought it on impulse.

Personally I prefer XCX, but I am big RPG fan that also doesn't mind grinding for levels killing various creatures or going to online guides to find where items that are vaguely labeled or described in mission objectives are. It is a great game but highly flawed at the same time and in more then one way feels unfinished.

Meanwhile Captain Toad is a good game if you are more into puzzles. While not as expansive as all the things you can get up to in XCX, it is a complete experience in terms of giving you a number of puzzles to complete. Although once it is done, aside from just improving yourself there isn't that much to go back for. It is up to you which you want I wouldn't say comparing the two is a great comparison though they are vastly different products.

Sorry, but I'm a proud American-born citizen.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Captain Toad is a nothing game. The kind of small and uninteresting game that Nintendo put on Wii U to artificially fill the release list. It's a poor effort and not a full game.

Xenoblade X on the other hand is the Wii U's most ambitious game, it's a masterpiece in its genre. A must have if you like RPG and exploration.

That nothing game was praised by critics and become a million seller on the WiiU...

It may have been fun to play for some people, but it's still a small scale game done in a few month and nothing like a true great title like Xenoblade.

XCX no questions asked.

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also
