I agree with him, Adam Sandler has a lot of appeal still, and I personally watvhed both movies at the Netflix premiere date.
That said, Do Over is a little better, but both movies are bad. But Sony big blockbuster´ Ghostbusters is much much worst, so, bad comedies are not the exception, they are the norm.
Adam is a funny guy, they should give him a series or something.
Also, everything that comes up eventually goes down, and Adam almost reached for the stars man, I remember a less cynical time when he was a synonim with comedy, not too long ago, mind you: the Wedding Singer, The Water Boy, Billy Madison... He is in the end of his road, but I tell you that I have seem much worst falls...
And he is a good actor also, see Funny People and Drunk-Punch-Love, so, he could very well be even in normal movies or something.
Have him made bad comedies? Oh yes, but the comedian who neved did shall throw the first stone: Jim Carrey, Louis CK, Chris Rock, they all made stinkers.
So, for some reason Adam Sandler is now the favorite target of the internet SJWs and Youtubers, but deep down we all know that his crimes are not worst than the crimes of all the other comedians.
