So kickass was based in the US? Doesn't seem like the easiest of places to go undetected.

Whoopsis.  Didn't read the OP.

"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

Okay well I will admit I pirated stuff (more so past tense), why does government need to mind its own business? Pirating in the United States is a crime, if they deal with the source/supplier, they are dealing with a crime.

Now you could say, chop off the head, another two will show up in its place. However nothing has remotely come close to the amazing site of Suprnova back in the day.

I don't have an ounce of sympathy.

You know what's the really crazy part? This dude will get a harsher punishment that most murders and rapists.... THAT sickens me.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

You know, if they really want to make people stop downloading illegal content via torrent sites, whenever you arrest the owners, arrest a select number of users who have downloaded numerous illegal copies and charge them together as an ongoing criminal conspiracy under the RICO laws. Since torrent sites make considerable revenue indirectly based on the illegal distribution of copyrighted works and peer-to-peer sharing of torrents is a facilitation of that distribution, any user who uses a torrent is technically acting as part of an ongoing criminal enterprise.

I mean, look, I get it. Sometimes you download an unlicensed version because of a legit reason. For example, I have Pokémon Silver on my phone because I bought it but I lost my Gameboy and the cart's battery isn't working. Similar situation with Kirby Super Star. But there's a huge number of people who never buy music, movies, or games cause they always torrent them. That's not ok. And these torrent sites make MONEY distributing this stuff illegally. That's really, really not cool.

Or he'll get what a slap on his wrist like the owner of another site got once.  But if he does get some ridiculous number of years in prison, well that's just mathematics.  They could, in theory, charge him with thousands of counts of Criminal Copyright Infringement.  Even if they are all just 1 year, that would still be life in prison.

Why does the US needs to be involved in everything, this is an Ukranian guy in Poland, what the fuck has US to do with an Ukranian boy in Poland, sometimes I think they are really the most hateful nation in the planet, they really think they have the right to do anything anywhere.

Good. Now if they'd just start arresting people who download illegally...

That's alot of "theys" there buddy. I know it's tempting, but generlizing is not such a good idea.
