I know, but as I read it's more of an enhanced version of the original rather than a brand new game, so I'm not really sure if it counts...
Oh I forgot Birth by Sleep. Just kicked Xenoblade out of top 3.
Best:
There were some good JRPGs in that generation but none of them were as groundbreaking and immersive as lots of RPGs from the SNES, PS1 or PS2 era, so choosing a few would only mean but "best of the rest".
Worst:
Insert every single Nippon Ichi, Idea Factory, Compile Heart, Gust etc. "RPG" here.
Best: X.e.n.o.b.l.a.d.e C.h.r.o.n.i.c.l.e.s
Worst: I don't know.
God bless You.
My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+
When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

Cannot decide between Valkyria Chronicles or Lost Oddessey for me. Both were great. Disgaea 4, The World Ends with You and Xenoblade Chronicles are also good options.

It was very very very bad... It had potential to be good though. I liked the idea of the massive battles, but they completely ephed it up by not giving you full control of you units. You could only issue vague commands and even then you didn't even have access to all of those. For example, if you really needed to heal a unit, most of the time you couldn't because the command wasn't even one of your options... |
You couldn't heal the unit because you didn't have the healing items in your inventory. It appears as as option once you have some. It took me a bit to figure that out but once I did it was a breeze.
Best:
Resonance of Fate: The most unique and refreshing battle system I can think of
Eternal Sonata: Huge fan of Chopin and also RPGs. What else is there to say?
Xenoblade Chronicles: Took a while to get going but the story was so, so worth it.
Lost Odyssey: I cried during most of the short stories, not gonna lie. The way they were presented was so beautiful.
Ni No Kuni: The latter section of the game reminded me why exactly I play RPGs.
I didn't play many jrpgs last gen. Don't really know why as they have traditionally been one of my favorite genres. By default I guess I would have to go with FFXIII as the best, but only because the only other one I distinctly remember was Ni No Kuni, which I despised.

Why did you despise it?
