You couldn't heal the unit because you didn't have the healing items in your inventory. It appears as as option once you have some. It took me a bit to figure that out but once I did it was a breeze.

Eternal Sonata: Huge fan of Chopin and also RPGs. What else is there to say?
Xenoblade Chronicles: Took a while to get going but the story was so, so worth it.
Lost Odyssey: I cried during most of the short stories, not gonna lie. The way they were presented was so beautiful.
Ni No Kuni: The latter section of the game reminded me why exactly I play RPGs.
