Street Fighter V was console exclusive, unlike MK8 and UC4.

The previous Naughty Dog Uncharted games have sold on average +7 million lifetime. I wouldn't be surprised if Uncharted 4 ships +10 million so I'll go with Uncharted 4, but MK8 has a good chance of winning.

I'd like to see Uncharted 4 winning over Mario Kart 8. But I already bet against Mario Kart 8 once and I got utterly destroyed, so I'm not very confident here.

On a side note, regarding the OP, who ended up winning in sales? Halo 5 or Splatoon?

Mario Kart 8 has *just about* sold better than every Uncharted game. I'm unsure if Uncharted 4 will become the highest selling game in the series, and if before MK8's lead gets farther ahead.

Based on The last of us, sales I expect lifetime sales to be about 10m for uncharted 4.

Not sure I'd agree with the tired gameplay formula argument, at least not against a game with an '8' in the title.

Regardless, I think Uncharted can come close, as long as it receives a high metascore, 90+ say.

Some people might not buy Uncharted 4 because they think they will miss out on story stuff from the first 3.

Sony games don't sell on Sony systems but you list a failure game (due to launching after the PS4 was released) that sells 5 million.

Well UC2 and UC3 both sold around 7 million. So I think UC4 will sell similarly. Probably just under MK8.

Although, with that said, more of the hardcore audience went with Playstation this gen (I did. And I never had a PS3). So maybe that'll increase the number of Uncharted players.
