Pikmin 4 is possible. Nintendo confirmed last year that development on it was "almost done" so it's either coming to a Wii U soon or Nx near launch. but I personally think it would be a stupid move on Nintendo's part if they put it on Wii U at this point. Pikmin 3 didn't reach their sales expectation and Pikmin 4 would probably sell even worse. Launch titles usually sell more just because they're some of the only titles you can get for the system at the time so Pikmin 4 would probably sell even more than Pikmin 3 if it were released as an Nx launch title. A lot of early adopters would probably pick the game up but there may not be as much thirst for new games, especially from mid-tier series like Pikmin, on the Wii U since it's near the end of it's cycle.

Aside from that I really don't know what Nintendo could possibly announce for Wii U at this point. It's time for a new 3D Mario, Mario Kart 9, and Retro Studio's next game to be announced, but I would be very surprised if all of these weren't being saved for Nx. A new (proper) Animal Crossing is probably coming soon since this year is it's anniversary. Maybe that can be a holiday title for Wii U. Kind of doubt it since that horrible Amibo-based on came out holiday 2015 though.

E3's probably going to suck for Nintendo. Pretty hard. They'll show off Zelda, and that will be impressive. Paper Mario: Color Splash will probably be the marque title for Wii U this holiday season. Aside from that, they'll focus on Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Monster Hunter: Generation, and Pokemon Sun and Moon. Maybe they'll announce some new 3DS games and a few smaller-scale Wii U games, but that's about it. Whatever kind of presentation they do for the Nx's reveal later in the year will probably be more hype than E3. Hopefully that's when we'll see stuff like the next 3D Mario and Retro's next game.

Pikmin 4K on NX w/Supplemental Computing Device. Believe.

Nintendo's pathetically small 800K Wii U shipment forecast (from April 2016 through March 2017) guarantees that we are not going to see any more real titles.

At E3 for Wii U they'll talk about:

1) Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

2) Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

3) Paper Mario Color Splash

4) Project Giant Robot as an eShop title

5) The Legend of Zelda

6) Wii U 3rd-party games, maybe Lost Reavers by Bandai Namco

And that's it. No brand new, unannounced games. MAYBE another remaster or two like Skyward Sword HD but that's a stretch.

They'll announce 3DS games there, sure, but nothing Wii U related. In this new fiscal year Kimishima is officially done with the Wii U.

The only reason Zelda is still on the Wii U is because they've literally talked about it being on the Wii U since January 2013. They have to put it on the Wii U out of obligation at this point.

Every other Wii U project is moved to NX, in my opinion. The last thing you want to do is disincentivize early adoption of your new platform.

And yet most people who voted in the poll think that there are three or more unannounced Wii U first party games left.

If you notice in Nintendo's financial statements, 27.36 million units of Wii U software was shipped (or sold digitally) from April 2015 through March 2016.

Nintendo is forecasting only 15.00 million units of Wii U software shipped from April 2016 through March 2017. That dramatic yearly reduction can be easily achieved with the Wii U Nintendo titles that will most likely be released this fiscal year (Star Fox, Zelda, Mario & Sonic, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Project Giant Robot, and Paper Mario) along with the anchors that can achieve 1+ million each like Splatoon, Mario Maker, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros...and whatever remains of Nintendo's third-party lineup.

It does not indicate a new, major release besides what has already been announced. Certainly not anything that Nintendo believes will be a Million-seller.

I don't see how three or more unannounced Wii U first-party games could fit into such a small software forecast by Nintendo....maybe a remaster? But certainly not anything like a new Animal Crossing.

For reference:

Sales history:

November 2012 - March 2013: 13.42 million units of Wii U software

April 2013 - March 2014: 18.86 million units of Wii U software

April 2014 - March 2015: 24.40 million units of Wii U software

April 2015 - March 2016: 27.36 million units of Wii U software

Forecast:

April 2016 - March 2017: 15.00 million units of Wii U software

I really don't think Nintendo would even dare push another Zelda remaster after the delay of Zelda U to 2017, Would be a sure way to get their fans flooding the internet with complains around the time all the chat should be the NX hype.

That's just because they've literally remastered every single 3D console Zelda this gen except for Skyward Sword...I half-expect them to complete the lineup.

You can never underestimate how tone-deaf Nintendo can be in 2016. Case in point: Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Paper Mario: Color Splash. Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival. And other titles which have enraged the denizens of the Internet.

Maybe 2-3 very small games will be announced at E3.
But there won't be big game announcements for it anymore.
Just thing about it: Why should they announce big games for a console which will get only 800k units shipped this fiscal year and on the other hand there is the release of a new console early next year?

Lol. There are really people who think that Nintendo will have a single game in 8 months? You are making me laugh :D

Of course there are more unannounced Wii U Games for the holiday season. Iwata has even promised that there will be Wii U Games after the NX Launch. Why should they have unannounced Wii U Hames for after the NX launch but no for before the NX Launch? Your logic doesn't make sense.

12. Metroid, Animal Crossing, Home console Pokemon, F-Zero, Galaxy 3, Pikmin 4, new Wave Race, *another* *proper* Paper Mario, and 4 more!

This is maybe a bit too much.

Maybe Pikmin 4...maybe.

Pikmin 4 is a safe bet.

I hope it is. I need something to play this holiday season!

I would not honestly count on even 3 "unannounced" Wii U games coming. In fact, I'd be surprised if there were more than 1. And I seriously doubt any of them will really be of any meaningful substance to most Nintendo fans. Not in the face of getting screwed out of Zelda in 2016.
