Lost Reavers, previously known as Project Treasure, is an upcoming free-to-play online co-operative action game developed and published by Bandai Namco for the Wii U. The game will be exclusively distributed via Nintendo eShop, and will take advantage of the Nintendo Network. The public beta test is being held in between 14th April until 26th april, followed by the title's commercial release on the 28th April.

Your stats etc in beta almost never carry over to the final game, so it's just time wasted.
Especially if it's just to wait another two weeks to play it for free.

A free beta for a normal retail games is more interesting though, because it may be the only way for you to try it, and decide if you'll buy it.
