Good commercial!

So basically a bunch of third party games (with better versions available on the competing console), some exclusives announced years ago with no release dates in sight, and almost no actual gameplay.

I can't believe MS expects this to sale, I know its marketing but you actual substance to back it up.

I have an Xbox one but I haven't actually plugged it in in months. I'm still wanting for Quantum Break and all the other "AAAA" exclusives MS claimed were in development years ago.

That was pretty bad.,.. first they start off with that whole top ten thing, then show lots of 3rd party games, and even throw in a few games for 2015/2017...

I think the video just shows how little MS has for release this year in terms of range.

You guys should read both Lauster's and smroadkill15's comment. While the both of you are just talking BS.

Perhaps you need to read Lausters post of what games were shown... I'm not saying the games they showed were crap or there is a lack of games, just that its a slight of hand video... its easy to make your schedule look bigger if you fill it with 3rd parties and games already released

  • Quantum Break
  • Crackdown 3
  • ReCore
  • Scalebound
  • Gears of War 4
  • Sea of Thieves
  • Halo Wars 2

Multiplatform

  • Dark Souls III
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
  • Madden NFL 16
  • Tom Clancy's The Division
  • Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Already Released

  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege
  • Killer Instinct - Already released but getting S3... or whatever
  • Rare Replay
  • Forza Motorsport 6
  • Halo 5: Guardians
  • FIFA 16
  • Fallout 4
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Gears of War: Ultimate Edition

I'm only want to see something of Recore, I have a feeling that i'm gonna like it A LOT.

Tim and The Princes...

Nice ad. Not surprised to see people trying to pick it apart though. Gotta LOL @ "not enough exclusives" and "no release dates in sight".

There is nothing wrong with showing repeated games especially if they were release recently or 3 or 4 months ago unless somehow those games don't matter anymore or that gamers somehow aren't buys them. Dont forget MS has advertising rights for a few of those multiplat games like The Division so it makes sense for it to appear in the trailer.

I find more plausible that Square Enix releases Final Fantasy 7 Remake this year (2016) than ReCore.

Also, Scalebound is officially delayed to 2017, why is it on that list?

The X1 Line-Up for this year is good, but very flimsy when it comes to release dates.

ReCore, CGI trailer. Nothing to get hyped about IMO. I dont get hyped with CGI anymore because i know better. Example: Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Crackdown 3, just a demo for the cloud with little gameplay.

Sea of Thieves, nada.

Halo Wars 2, i havent seen anything since forever.

Gears of War 4, just that underwhelming E3 trailer with little to see.

I dont know man...im just waiting for official release dates, thats it.

Lets actually analysis the commercial for a minute. They showed 4 of their big exclusives from last year, and 2 multiplats. Next they showed 6 exclusives for 2016, and 2 multiplats. Then 1 exclusive for 2017. Overall, 11 exclusives (1 timed) and 4 multiplats. Tell me again how they showed off a bunch of 3rd party? Btw, almost everything shown was in-game minus 2 games, Recore and Halo Wars 2. Lets also ignore every other game releasing this year because we all know, if it's not in the sizzle reel it doesn't exist! I love the effort to downplay guys, keep at it!

 More precisely

*Rise of the Tomb Raider
*Halo 5: Guardians
*Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
*Forza Motorsport 6
FIFA 16
Fallout 4
*Quantum Break
Tom Clancy's The Division
*Crackdown 3
*ReCore
*Scalebound
*Gears of War 4
Mirror's Edge Catalyst
*Sea of Thieves
*Halo Wars 2
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege
Dark Souls III
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Madden NFL 16
*Killer Instinct
*Rare Replay

That makes 13 exclusives (1 timed) and 8 multiplats

I was really only mentioning games shown for longer than a second, but even with all those other games added I still find my argument still holds true.

I'm not gonna argue everything, but these...

Have you played a Crackdown game? The cloud is just used in multiplayer, its gonna have a campaign that doesn't use cloud like previous games in the series.

The Gears of War 4 trailer looked great to me and it was impressive to see the progress they made. I'm sure the game will have lots of wacky shit like previous games. Do you remember the first demos of Uncharted 4? That looked worse, but that game looks impressive now.

If you are going to call BS at least try to read peoples comments. I didnt say that there was a problem advertising multiplats in a video, all companies do that at E3 for example... but what I am saying is that the video starts with "Crappy stats" and "Look at this "Best line up ever" meme line...there is an obvious lack of 2016 MS content for them to throw a video out there which also includes games from last year and 3rd party. If you cannot see the point I and others are making... well nothing I can do I guess.

Yeah i have played Crackdown 1, it was a long time ago but i loved it. I also love the Gears Franchise (except Judgement), but what im saying is that for games that will supposedly be releasing this year, we have seen so little and that is worrying imo.

My point was that the Xbox One 2016 Line-Up is very flimsy release date wise, i hope im wrong tho.
