Forums - Gaming Discussion - How did you feel about your first gaming system?

My first console was an N64, which originally belonged to my brothers. I still love mine and refuse to give it away. In my original collection I had Smash Bros., Ocarina of Time, Pokemon Stadium, Mario Kart 64, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, and few others which I forget. I remember playing Smash 64 with my sister when I was really little. And later on when I was 8 my cousin gave me his N64 collection (which he was originally going to sell, cause there were a lot that he never played). That's where I first played games like Mario 64, Kirby 64, and Excitebike 64.

My first home console was the GameCube. I bought it myself and I loved it!!

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I wouldn't be into games without the NES.

That's a lie. Pokemon would have bought me in. Still, great memories.

My first console was a NES, I loved it and it sparked my interest in gaming. But months later I got a SNES as a gift and that's whenI truly became a gamer (I was 6 or something). It was so much better!

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I was too young to enjoy my first consoles, and with only 2 games with my NES, I couldn't enjoy much of such a great generation provided. Makes me pretty sad I largely missed out on it... :

PlayStation helped introduce me to gaming thanks to the large and diverse library.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

My first was an Atari 2600 with three games: H.E.R.O, Pitfall 2 and Pengo. It still gives me such fond memories mainly because of H.E.R.O which I still find to be an incredible game. It made me realize just how special games can be and made me fall in love with the medium.

Another Atari 2600 here. Though I had a lot more games on mine, most had graphics/sounds that made me nauseous (I still played the crap out of them!!!), but H.E.R.O stood out as my favourite as well.

Pure chlid-like fascination, N64, Paper Mario, it used to be my favorite game 'till some months ago.

I'm now filled with determination.

First home console I owned all to myself was the SNES, played the crap out of Earthbound, FF3 (aka 6), and FF mystic quest. It was the console that got me into JRPGs, and the console I credit for making me into a gamer. Earthbound is the first game I've ever obsessed over and I still rank it as my favorite game ever to this day.
