My only regret, is that I probably won't live long enough for colonies on Mars and other celestial bodies to become  common enough to gtf out of here.

no. some people also reject blood transfers
if they do that for themselfs, im okay with their believe - but not if some1 else does for them

The difference is Blood Transfusion don't save lives, it endangers them in a lot of cases. The body treats a blood transfusion like it treats a major organ transplant. The JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) ran a study comparing non-blood surgry to surgry with blood and found that:

There is less then a 3% increased chance of major complications (including death) during surgry if you don't get a transfusions. But if you survive the surgry the patients that didn't get blood:

Where 80% less likely to have post-operation complications (including death).

Where out of the hospital on average of 3 days earily. Because of the last point.

This was a study published in 1996 and since then bloodless medicine has improved the chances of survival. So comparing that event to not getting a transfusion without any knowlege of the alternatives isn't that great. I know of two people that died because of recieving a blood transfusion and them suffering from a post operation complication.

You do realise we'd just migrate our stupidity to Mars.

I would hope outside of Earth's orbit, there's zero tolerance for this kind of stupidity.
