Do you believe Micro showed good content that caught your interest?

Was the conference what you expected?

How would you rate it in a scale of 0.5 to 10?

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I would say a solid 7/10.

6.5 / 10.

Most eye catching games: Homefront/Darksouls/Scalebound.

*Notes:

Halo multiplayer looked much better than the mess they showed at E3 (maybe because this time it was 2 professional teams playing).

Still I think most people would rather have seen more single player campagne gameplay instead.

7/10. Would have been below average if not for scalebound imo, game looks great can't wait to see more

6/10

Scalebound underwhelmed me

Nothing really mind blowing but Tomb Raider looks badass.

i will give 7/10 as well, good gameplay footage from scalebound, but lack of surprise, and Quantum break is great but, still we know this games is coming so that's that.

^ I thought Scalebound looked good, while Tomb Raider looked pretty bad.

I guess it comes down to gameplay tastes, Im not a fan of stealth games.

I'm a Playstation player, so it's not weird that I didn't like that conference. Almost no new announcement, a lot of indies and Windows 10 talks, new footage for already known games, and the new gameplay shown (QB, Scalebound) didn't look that interesting.

We were talking in the past few days about "shots fired" and "shots left" for MS and Sony, and some people said that Microsoft would take advantage of Sony's absence to take some momentum at Gamescom. They didn't, and the only shot they fired is Halo Wars 2, so again a Halo (and available on W10?). It seems they lack resources and studios to provide the ammos, and give a great opportunity to Sony for their next conferences (PGW, TGS, PSX). One new game per conference would be a lot more that what we've seen today.

I thought it started off great with immediately starting off with Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, and Scalebound but then got really fucking boring for me.

Scalebound looks incredible though, definately the best part of the show for me.

I would give it a 7/10. I didn't think it was horrible by any means, I thought it was good but not great. The only actual new thing announced was Halo Wars 2.

As someone close to an X1 purchase, I was a bit disappointed. There was a lack of new games that were appealing, only Halo Wars 2 on the AAA exclusive front. I think this is a consequence of MS announcing a lot of games too early. New gameplay trailers for Dark Souls III, Just Cause 3 and Homefront Revolution all looked good, but my third party interests are all on PS so I don't really count them, as they are meaningless to me when considering an X1 purchase.

The new stuff shown on games already announced was good though. Scalebound is definitely one of my most anticipated games for next year now, and Tomb Raider looked strong, even if it pales a bit in comparison to a reasonably similar franchise on another console. Crackdown 3 looked like it had potential, but they didn't exactly show very much. Quantum Break, looked promising, even though I thought they overdid it on the powers, hopefully that was just for demo purposes and are toned down in the final product. Forza 6 and Halo 5 looked great as expected, even though I didn't like how they presented the latter with all the e-sport nonsense.

Overall, I would give it 5/10. It had a lack of new interesting games or features, but there was still a lot to be excited about for the future. The rest of this year and 2016 look good on the exclusive front. My only disappointment in that regard is that it does look like 2016 is going to be another year with big focus on the holidays, with Scalebound, Halo Wars 2, Gears 4 and Forza whatever all coming late in the year. Only Quantum Break and Recore interest me for the first two thirds of the year. Recore is a worry as well, no gameplay with the game supposedly coming H1 next year is odd.
