I'm surprised Halo: MCC was even allowed in China. Even though the ban of consoles sold in China was lifted, wasn't there still ridiculous regulation of software still in place?

Either way, this is a weird development for gauging interest; I'm interested to see how this plays out...

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Halo is okay since you basically just kill aliens or something, but I'd still expect some censorship.

People are getting the impression this "kickstarter" needs to be funded or there will be no Halo:MCC in China. But its just for special editions.

Either way this is a region where consoles aren't very popular. I'm all for kickstarters that encourage companies to do things they might not have without lowering thier risks.

A lot of the MS camp gave sony alot of shit over kickstarter being used to gauge public interest. I wonder how many of those will say this is brillant.
