Anyone going to run Windows 10 on launch day?
My laptop will be Windows 10 day 1, my PC will wait to see if there is any issues that pop up before I make the jump.
I won't be upgrading strait away. I want to see if and what issues exist before jumping in. We have an entire year to decide if we want to upgrade, but chances are, I'll be running Windows 10 within a few weeks if everything seems alright.

I tried what is essentially the RTM build today. It worked fantastically until I couldn't refresh (it failed), a clean install revealed it had failed to store the key in the BIOS like it should have, so I couldn't activate since I didn't pull the key after the upgrade but before the clean install attempt, and after reinstalling 8.1, I couldn't even get it to upgrade anymore after it failed twice. Needless to say, I'm a little bit worried about launch day considering the build I used is what people will be upgrading to unless there are some last minute updates.
I'm going to wait. After spending all afternoon playing around with installs and finally resettling on 8.1, I just can't be bothered to deal with the classic day one OS problems. In the end, I only took the path I did because my 8.1 install was becoming problematic, but now that it's been clean installed again anyways, it's up to speed and working fine. I have no real reason to upgrade anymore.

Can't wait! This is the most excited I've ever been for a new OS.
Definitely. Windows 8 has been just an annoyance, I'm very excited to be rid of it.
will upgrade my Surface Pro for sure since its tablet mode working great, & my low-end laptop on day 1 due to its slow Windows 7, if everything is running well after some times then upgrade my hi-end laptop last...
Hell to the no. I'll stick with Windows 7. Funny the past two times on startup their little stupid notification of upgrading to Windows 10 has crashed on startup. I'm getting sick of that damn notification and when I select hide it hides it till the next restart. I see no reason to upgrade and I won't get stuck with having to pay for updates after the "free" year is over.
