Dragon Quest XI announcement incoming?

Square Enix will host a Dragon Quest New Title Presentation next Tuesday, July 28, the latest issue of Jump magazine confirms. It will be live streamed.

It also confirms the official subtitle for Dragon Quest Heroes II will be Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End. It will have a new story, but Homiron will appear yet again. A release date is still unannounced.

Jump teases it will have news on a big title in its August 3 issue—it’s final Dragon Quest feature issue—which should leak on July 30. It’s likely it will be whatever new title is announced at the Dragon Quest press conference.

I think no one will be able to claim that third parties aren't biased against Nintendo if it is on PS4.

Because there's simply no way that a PS4 DQ game will make as much profit on the 3DS. I'm sure people will try to bring "The West" argument into this debate, but they're ignoring the fact that DQ has never been big in the West and MH4U on the 3DS is the fastest selling MH game in the West to date. So it's not like third party games in the West are doomed to fail on the 3DS...

I do agree the title should have a question mark. However, hopefully it is DQXI and it's at least on PS4.

The guy who runs DQ game development, I forget his name, has already said he wants to have DQ XI on a home console. The only logical choice in that case is the PS4 and maybe PS3 as well for Japan.

Yeah sure, all Japanese developers have to release all their games on the 3DS because it'd sell more, if they don't they are clearly BIASED AGAINST NINTENDO.

You can't make homeconsole games anymore, unless you're a filthy biased company!
