This is insane, PS4 only did 14 million in 2014 and Wii did 16m in 2007. No way this will happen, unless they hit a jackpot like that did with the Wii or DS

If it is a handheld and console replacement I don't think those numbers are insane at all. If they get it right and it is a replacement for both those it could easily do that.

No it can't easily do that...that's insanity.... The handheld market is not near what it was either. No way it comes close, be surprised if it does that in 2 years..

Well the people predicting this can't be stupid, or they wouldn't be in a job, so perhaps they have something really good line up, launching at a great price.

The part about Nintendo releasing something in 2016 is a rumour, however, that is not the point of this thread. It says Nintendo is expecting ship 20m NXs in the first year right below the article
