There are so many things that can be said, and so few of them are positive.

I only see positive things, i hope iwata is a man of his word, if he is , we will be satisfied

I was talking about the "We are prioritizing satisfying customers who purchased the Wii U" line. A new Mario Tennis and an Amiibo Animal Crossing game is not what I would call prioritizing our satisfaction.

Also, after the disaster that was the launch of the 3DS, Iwata said that they had learned the lesson: not launching their an overpriced console without games. Judging by what happened with WiiU, he was either lying, he thought that lesson applyed only to handhelds, not home console or he simply doesn't know what he's doing.

Make yourself a favor and don't put much hope on Iwata.

lol what about fatal frame 5, devil's third, yoshi's wooly world, star fox, xenoblade x, mario maker, smt x fire emblem and zelda + unannounced games?

as bad as an idea as it was, at least nintendo specified the games shown at E3 were all 2015 and early 2016 titles. It's really stupid to assume there won't be more 2016 titles just because they weren't announced at E3.

Hi zero999, why are you still coming here? No one misses you.

Anyway, I'll answer. For most of console users, which by the way are not like us and get to know about games by TV/internet ads and know what happens at E3 by the brief summaries that appear on the TV news which talk only about the conferences, Nintendo only showed 3 new games for WiU: StarFox Zero (which looks like a 10 years old game), Mario Tennis and Amiibo Animal Crossing. Uhh, how exciting! Not it isn't. Also, Fatal Frame and Devil's Third doesn't exist because Nintendo decided to not show them. And while they showed Fatal Frame during the Treehouse, Devil's Third was completely absent from the E3.

Zelda has been delayed, as always happens with Zelda, and for some unknown reason they decided that since it was delayed, it was not worth showing it. Call it Nintendo's logic. And I've already discussed my opinion on the other games you mention, which you would have known if you had read the thread.

And are you really going to use the "unannounced games" argument? That is completely useless. For all we know, they could all be games like Splatoon, which would be great, or games like the Amiibo Animal Crossing, which would be a big f*ck you Nintendo.

Please excuse my bad English.

''Immediately cutting off SW for previous HW upon the release of a new machine is inefficient. We will continue making 3DS/Wii SW while preparing for the NX.''

Sorry but that statement is actually a contradiction. First he say's cutting of software for previous hardware upon the release of new hardware is inefficient. Then he states that their only continuing to make 3DS/Wii software while preparing for NX. So it's still possible that software support for old platforms will be dropped the day NX launches.

This doesn't ring true - significant software support for the Wii was all but cut off two years before the WiiU's release (what was shown for the Wii at E3s 2011 and 2012 other than Skyward Sword?), and that had an install-base far more conducive to releasing profitable games. Nintendo's statements often suggest one thing while their actions suggest another.

They're clearly not though. I think I'll hold off my expectations from Nintendo announcements until next year, which I think will be huge for them in that regard.

WII U LIVING UP TO 2018.

Its easy to talk when your actions show the opposite, of course they wont say " we dont are anymore about making Wii U games, the priority is NX "

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

They will just make fans believe they still support it by releasing low budget small games, but dont be naïve, all thé big projects have already been ported to NX and Zelda will likely be cross gen

Of course. That's why 2016 has no games confirmed at all besides SMT X FE and Zelda, which is not even confirmed to be released that year.

Yes they were.

I'm really starting to think that the NX might not be significantly more powerful than the Wii U.
I think you would have to be pretty in denial to not see that the first party development for the 3DS and the Wii U is starting to slow down, evidently in preparation for the NX.
If the architecture of the NX is not significantly different from the Wii U, and the power differential isn't that great, then assets can be reused from the Wii U to the NX, allowing first party games to be made cheaper and more quickly.
Just my speculation.

Of Course, point here is that they will don't stop releasing 3DS/Wii U games because of NX, they will continue to support them while in same time they preparing for NX. And yes probably they will stop releasing software for old console when new console is launch, like with any previous Nintendo console.
